After trying several different apps for making grocery lists, I decided that the simple yet very efficient Cinnamon app was the best for me. Find out why!
In my experience, making digital grocery shopping lists is SO much better than using pen and paper. When you have the list on your phone, you have it with you at all times and can add items any time you remember you need something. Plus, you won’t get to the store and then remember you left the list at home!
For this, you could use any list making app, but here is why I love the Cinnamon app for grocery shopping lists:
In the Cinnamon app, your main shopping list is separated into your “Buy list”, “In cart”, and an optional “Next time” column. This way you can slide your item to the right if you already put it in your shopping cart, or slide it to the left if you decided not to buy the item this time and want to save it for the next time you go shopping. The items in your “In cart” column will later go automatically to your “Pantry” list, in which you can add everything you own right now so you can keep track of what you already have and not buy the same item twice by mistake.
The Cinnamon app has helped me save a lot of time making my grocery shopping lists, and it always keeps everything so organized, it makes it easy to use even in a hurry.
Another thing I love about it is that it lets me add the price for each item so that I can have an idea of how much I will pay at the end.
Keeping everything separated into categories is also a great help, as it helps you find things easier.
There are many other features that I haven’t even tried yet; it’s a very complete app and still very simple to use. I still haven’t found anything I don’t like about it, so that’s awesome!
