December Beauty Favorites

2017 is just around the corner! Here are my last beauty favorites of 2016.

My December Beauty Favorites are here! As you know, this section is all about beauty products that I have tried and loved. Some are brand new, and others are products that have been on the market for a long time but I just never got around to try them. You’ll also find products that have been part of my all time favorites. I’ll give you a quick review about why I loved them, and also let you know where you can find them.

Remember, just because they worked for me doesn’t necessarily mean they’ll work for you! Take into consideration your skin type, your hair or nails’ qualities, and what you like or need in a product, before you decide to try anything.

*Please note, Paper and Landscapes is not sponsored by any brand and is not paid in any way for our product reviews! However, we have added our Amazon Affiliate links along with each product’s official page.

Beauty Favorites: December

1. Covergirl The Super Sizer Fibers Mascara

I’ve actually seen many mixed reviews about this mascara. However, after trying it myself, I loved it! Covergirl’s Super Sizer Fibers Mascara claims you’ll get 400% more volume, containing fibers that will simulate a false lash effect. I don’t know about that “400%” thing, but it does give my lashes a lot of volume, while also making them look darker and longer. The one I tried is the brown shade, and I don’t think there’s too much of a difference from the black one, because the lashes look pretty dark.

The best thing about it is that it is a low cost product that gives great results! You can find it in Walmart for about $6.

Or you can get it on Amazon.

2. NYX Lip Lingerie

This NYX Lip Lingerie shade is called Exotic, and it’s one of my favorite shades of lipstick ever! The liquid formula dries quickly, completely matte, and it is quite long lasting. Of course, you will have to reapply if you had something to eat, but I don’t mind that. Their Lip Lingerie line is all about beautiful warm nude shades. I want them all!

You can get it from Ulta for about $7, or directly from NYX’s official website.

3. L’oreal Paris Colour Riche Nail Color

I am in love with this color. It’s called “Hidden Gems“, and it is a dark, sparkly, teal. However, I would say it’s more of a matte finish! Which is weird because it is so glittery. To me, that makes this textured nail polish very unique. I also have it in “Rough Around The Edges“, and it is an equally awesome color. It takes two coats to get a good cover, and it is not as long lasting as I would have hoped. Nevertheless, the cool color makes it all worth it for me!

I got mine at Walgreens in a “buy one, get one half off” sale, so I got lucky that time. But you can also find it on L’oreal Paris’ official website for about $7.

Or get it on Amazon for $4.89!

4. Royal & Langnickel MODA Angle Shader Brush

This eye makeup brush is awesome. It is a fluffy, angled brush that is perfect for blending and smoothing out your eyeshadow, specially on the crease of your eyelid. The super smooth bristles are made of synthetic fibers, so the brush can be used for both creams or powders.

I got this beauty on this month’s ipsy Glam Bag, and sadly, I couldn’t find the exact brush on Royal & Langnickel’s official website.

But I did find it on Amazon for $8.99.

5. Trust Fund Beauty That Glo Tho Highlighter

That name makes me giggle! That Glo Tho is a highlighter stick, with subtle tones. The buildable and blendable formula makes it easy to work with. I’m usually not a fan of highlighters. That’s why this one is kind of a big deal for me! It truly gives you a a pretty glow.

This is another product that I got on one of my ipsy Glam Bags a few months ago, and even though I have other highlighters, I always find myself reaching out for this one.

You can get it on Trust Fund Beauty’s official website for $20.

Or you can get it on Amazon.

So that’s it for my beauty favorites this year! I hope 2017 brings lots of new favorites so I can share them with you ♥
