Recipe Cards - Paper and Landscapes

We made two versions of our recipe cards, a horizontal and a vertical one, so that you can choose whichever one works best for you. Download and print the ones you like the most!

To print the recipe cards on 8.5″ x 11″ paper:

It’s a good idea to print these recipe cards on cardstock paper so that they are stronger and sturdy. If you don’t have cardstock paper, you can, of course, use regular printer paper. You will get two recipe cards in one page, so you will need to cut them to size.

To print the recipe cards on 4″ x 6″ index cards:

If your printer is capable of printing on smaller pieces of paper, you can try printing these recipe cards on 4″ x 6″ index cards. I love this idea because the paper is already the size that you want it, so you don’t have to use scissors at all! Plus, they are sturdy, since they are cardstock paper. (Remember to change the necessary settings in your printer to be able to print in this size!)

To print the recipe cards on scrapbook paper:

You can use scrapbook paper to print the recipe cards by cutting it to either 8.5″ x 11″ or 4″ x 6″, and using the respective download from the ones provided above. Print your recipes on the white side of the paper.

Using scrapbook paper you can get a beautiful set of recipe cards without any extra effort!

After Printing

If you printed them in a 8.5″ x 11″ sized paper, cut each card carefully with your scissors or paper trimmer. If you printed them directly on 4″ x 6″ index cards they’re already finished!

Now you can start filling your recipe cards with all your favorite recipes!

Idea: Give a card to each of your closest friends or family members so that they can write you their favorite recipe. Soon you’ll have a box filled with different recipes (and you’ll know what to cook for them when they come to visit!).

Recipe Cards Boxes

I made this cute squared box for my recipe cards using scrapbook paper. It’s a very simple origami box that really anyone can do. I chose to make it with scrapbook paper because it’s the perfect size (12″ x 12″) for the vertical recipe cards, it’s sturdy, and you can choose one with a beautiful design that goes with your kitchen. The tutorial for this box will be uploaded this week!

For the longer box, I used a scrapbook paper and I cut it to 8.5″ x 11″. This one works perfect for the horizontal recipe cards. You can find the tutorial for this origami box by clicking here. (Use the paper horizontally to get the same size of box I got.)
