Matte Nude Liquid Lipsticks – Beauty Favorites

Hey beauties! We’re changing up our Beauty Favorites section a bit. Here are my favorite Matte Nude Liquid Lipsticks! Check it out!

Usually, I pick my beauty favorites from products that I have tried that month and I share them with you. However, we thought it was time to change things up a bit.

I’ll still be sharing some beauty favorites with you once in a while, but from now on I’ll pick a theme for each post. This time I chose Nude Matte Liquid Lipsticks.

They’re not necessarily new products. I’ll compare each product and give you a small review on them.

So here they are!

*Please note, Paper and Landscapes is not sponsored by any brand and is not paid in any way for our product reviews! However, we have added our Amazon Affiliate links along with each product’s official page.

Beauty Favorites: Nude Matte Liquid Lipsticks

1. Jordana Sweet Cream Lipstick [Tiramisu]

Matte Nude Liquid Lipsticks - Paper and Landscapes

This is a great, affordable lipstick. This line has a few nude shades that are absolutely pretty. They have a pretty good durability too! However, they feel a little bit sticky at first. Nothing that can’t be fixed with applying a little bit of loose powder on top of it.

Cost: $4.99

2. NYX Matte Lip Cream [London]

Matte Nude Liquid Lipsticks - Paper and Landscapes

I am in love with these. They aren’t exactly liquid lipsticks, they’re lip creams, but they’re pretty much the same idea. London and Abu Dabhi are perfect nude shades. They feel soft on the lips and won’t make them feel dried out. They don’t have a lot of staying power, but I don’t mind retouching.

Cost: $6.00

3. Wet N Wild Catsuit [Rebel Rose]

Matte Nude Liquid Lipsticks - Paper and Landscapes

Wet N Wild has joined the matte liquid lipsticks game! This is a pretty good formula. It is very durable, and the Rebel Rose shade is a gorgeous nude mauve. The only thing I don’t like about it is that it feels very drying. I use a moisturizing lip balm when I take it off to keep my lips healthy.

4. Tarteist Quick Dry Matte Lip Paint [Rosé]

Matte Nude Liquid Lipsticks - Paper and Landscapes

I got this on my latest ipsy Glambag! This is only a sample, but I loved it! This shade is a peachy nude. It goes on smoothly and applies easily and more precise than the others. Unfortunately, I do feel like it is kind of drying too. But that’s to be expected from most matte liquid lipsticks.

Cost: $20.00

5. NYX Lip Lingerie [Seduction]

Matte Nude Liquid Lipsticks - Paper and Landscapes

I absolutely love this shade. NYX Lip Lingerie is a great line to try if you’re into matte nude lipsticks because they’re all nude shades (and most of them look stunning!). They have a good durability, and they don’t feel too dry. I would like them so much better if they had a better applicator. I just think it makes it difficult to apply with precision.

Matte Nude Liquid Lipsticks Swatch

Aren’t they all gorgeous? I love them!

The picture above shows not only how the colors look on skin, but how precise the applicators are. Tarte and Wet N Wild lipsticks are the winners in that category.

Let’s put these Liquid Lipsticks to the test!

First, we’ll have a little smudge test…

NYX’s Lip Cream was almost all gone after smudging it. The others held up nicely! However, Tarte’s staying power was amazing.

Let’s kick it up a notch!

After some water and soap…

NYX’s Lip Cream went from faded to almost nonexistent, Jordana’s Sweet Cream was next, but Tarteist’s and NYX’s Lip Lingerie were still holding on! I mean, you’d still need to retouch them if you were actually wearing them, but you have to admit, that’s impressive.
