Mirror Pinboard – Cute Ideas

It’s really easy to make! With cheap materials you can create this very cute mirror pinboard to decorate your walls… and to draw or write on it! Attach it right next to your door so you can give yourself a last look before going out and also get a reminder pinned to the corkboard.

Materials needed:
Circle cork board (I used a cork pad made for kitchen use, around 10” inches in diameter)
– Circle mirror (I used one made as a plate for candles, around 8” inches in diameter)
– Glue (Use a strong one)
– Mounting tape
Black sharpie (Optional)
– Pins (Optional)
– Dry erase marker (Optional)

*Note* Amazon links are used as examples of materials you can buy for this project, but are not necessarily the same ones I used. Read the description of each product carefully if you plan to buy it.

Step 1: Glue the mirror

Glue the mirror to the pinboard with a very strong glue that can hold its weight. Take measurements if you need to, so that it ends up centralized. Leave it to dry for a few hours before hanging it on the wall. (I ended up using a different brand of glue than the one in the pictures, ’cause I thought it would work better. I used UHU glue and it worked great!)

Step 2: Draw design

Draw any design that you’d like on the cork with your sharpie. This will give it a personalized look. You can opt for an abstract design, a drawing, a name, a date, or anything else that you’d like.

Step 3: Mounting tape

Attach some mounting tape strips to the back and hang it on your wall! Make sure that you use enough mounting tape to hold the weight of it all; you don’t want the mirror to fall and break!

Step 4: Pin!

Pin a picture, a note, a reminder, a nice piece of paper, or something else that you’d like displayed on your pinboard.

Other options for your mirror pinboard:

Here are other ideas you can consider for this project.
– Paint the designs of the pinboard with a color that will work with your room.
– Paint only the edges of the pinboard with a bright color for a more edgy look.
– You can also draw or write right on your mirror with dry-erase markers!

You can use dry erase markers on the mirror.
Have fun making your own mirror pinboard and customizing it to your own taste. I’d love to see how yours turns out!
